Find out about Cambodia beyond the temples. Get a unique snapshot into Cambodian life. The day begins with a motorboat ride. Bring along your telephoto lens, if possible, to capture new experiences. Then we’ll visit the local wet market, the biggest in Siem Reap, to see local vendors selling fresh produce and other interesting wares. Afterward, we’ll visit a Buddhist pagoda where we will see ancient carvings and may have an opportunity to observe and interact with monks.
(Please note that we must be respectful and mindful of the monks. The pagoda is a religious structure and the monks may not be willing to talk or be photographed.)
Lunch or afternoon tea break with refreshment in a cool air-conditioned cafe.
OPTIONAL: Photo review + editing with Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom.
Restarting again in the late afternoon (2:30 pm) with street photo walking tour including city life, pagoda, Siem Reap river, Royal Garden, and local night market. We will experiment with night photoshoot techniques. Bring along your tripod if you have it with
